Esther Gad joined Usawa Agenda in 2021 as a consultant and later as a Program Assistant in the Research and Evidence unit. She is responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessments. Prior to joining Usawa Agenda, Esther worked as a teacher. Outside research, she enjoys singing, gardening, and volunteering at local schools to stay connected with the teaching community. She remains dedicated to fostering children’s love for learning and supporting educators through evidence-based research. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Kenyatta University.
