Since 2009, we have regularly conducted assessments to evaluate learning outcomes among primary school children in Kenya (aged 6-16 yrs old).
To promote equitable access to QUALITY education for every child in Kenya through RESEARCH, INNOVATION and EVIDENCE-BASED stakeholder engagement.
A world where every child benefits from QUALITY education.
We have a simple and clear operational governance to facilitate innovation and growth
We work all over Kenya
The surveys, which are representative at both national and district level, are conducted at the household and are the largest, most comprehensive, independent survey of households and children ever implemented in Kenya.
We understand the invaluable role of integrity in building trust without which our mission would abort. We uphold it with utmost fidelity in our rank and file, and in everything that we do.
We value ‘unity in diversity’; we seek to harness, respect and uphold diversity in our rank and file, and in all our activities.
We wear the badge of rigour on our sleeve with pride – it is our heritage and our promise to all we work with and in everything that we do.
Our Guiding Principles
We understand the power in working with and learning from others; we seek to leverage this power to optimize beneficial impact.
We are driven by a thirst for learning; to ask, listen, experiment, reflect and disrupt.
We seek to break the shackles of tradition and push towards new horizons, by reimagining, experimenting and reframing ideas and situations.
We are futuristic: we understand that today is the first day of the future, and seek to ensure that our actions today form building blocks for the future we desire.
We believe in practicing what we preach, we hold ourselves to the highest standard of openness and honesty about our success, and failure alike.
